Nintendo poised to Dominate Game market?
Nintendo is poised to dominate the next-generation console war with their new, revolutionary console: the Nintendo Wii.
Despite the odd moniker, Nintendo fans have wholly embraced the new system, which utilizes motion-sensing technology in the Wii remote, or Wii-mote to help turn video games into a more realistic virtual reality experience.
Players of the Nintendo Wii can control characters by waving around the Wii Remote and can gain a more precise level of control with optional peripherals, such as the Wii Zapper. This device allows the player to aim at targets generated by the Nintendo Wii in true 3D space.
This revolutionary concept is allowing Nintendo to sieze a very large market share by targetting gamers who value gameplay or graphics quality.
The Nintendo Wii proves, beyond a doubt, that Nintendo will continue to be a dominant market force for years to come. For additional insight and discussion, stop by our Wii Board and Wii Forums to discuss the Nintendo Wii.
